His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama

The Public Talk
The message for the public talk is how one generates compassion and learns how to share the earth with all human beings with the goal of World Peace. World Peace begins with learning how to generate a compassionate mind.

The Buddhist Teachings
This will be the very first time that His Holiness will be giving these particular Buddhist teachings. The fact that he has chosen this topic is a very important sign for Florida, the United States and the world, in support of World Peace. This is a very important teaching because it is the only one Padmasambhava, an emanation of Avalokitéshvara and a representative of the Buddha, wrote in his lifetime. He wrote just one text in support of all world cultures, religions and races.

The reason His Holiness chose this topic to teach in Miami is because people have capacities and different inherent states of mind - so he will teach nine levels to accommodate the different capacities and emotional states of mind of the people attending the teachings. These teachings are very short and easy to learn.

His Holiness’ instruction will explain how to generate World Peace and free the mind from suffering. In order to generate World Peace we need to come together to learn these principles. Together we can learn to generate a compassionate mind, the path to World Peace.
